In this piece, color theory is blatantly stated in the four regions of the sculpture. Each color swath is overlaid on another and even the blindest eye can see, while the colors don’t change, your perception of them does. The red plastic will always be red plastic. And the yellow plastic will be yellow plastic. But then you see purple, you see green and you see orange. That is a part of the piece, look deeper… Red over yellow does not generate the same mix as yellow over red.
The sculpture is as deep or as shallow as you perceive it to be, but nobody sees the same color and color is constantly changing around us. The theory of color is infinite and it is gorgeous, let's bask in the colors of today.
