Prague is a fairytale.
Everything is cute and quaint; and the people are nice and the lattes are nicer. Maybe a city in vain, Prague wastes no space in its attempt to beautify the built world and their streets are no exception. In a place like Europe, where cobblestone is common, Prague decides to edge up the competition. Their sidewalks are among the most unique pieces of art I have ever seen. Each paved in cobblestone differing in design from its adjacent partner.
To take care in where your feet step shows the cities dedication to the beauty of where we live and where we look. It is our human tendency to have our eyes drift downward when walking. This keeps us from tripping or stepping in something unpleasant. Prague takes that notion and turns the floor into a work of art.
